Logotype
DefenseCode is renowned leader in information security consultancy and vulnerability research.
While I was working on design proposals, I focused on the concepts of security and defense, searching for examples of it in the nature, especially in the animal kingdom. In the end, it was the zebras who inspired me to create DefenseCode logo this way. I’ve placed the company initials inside the lines, so that one can not see them easily, which is the same technique zebras use when they are being chased by predators - they all stand together, so that the attackers can't see where the actual animal begins, nor where it ends – all zebras just ‘melt’ together into one big pattern. I used black and yellow colors because these are used in the nature as a warning to other creatures, signaling ”I am mighty & potentially poisonous.”
Unfortunately, in the end, this design was not selected.
